Check acceptance before buying or booking. This list describes TryyCart service restrictions; it is not a complete statement of export or import law.
Policy version 2026-10-16.1
Not accepted through standard booking
- Cash, banknotes, negotiable instruments, payment cards and traveller cheques; lottery tickets and gambling devices; postage stamps and collectible or imitation currency require review and must not be booked as ordinary goods.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, flares, matches, fake grenades, toy or replica weapons, BB and paintball guns, antique weapons, knives and swords.
- Illegal drugs and narcotics, marijuana, counterfeit goods, hazardous waste and undeclared dangerous goods.
- Human or animal remains, ashes, organs, body parts, embryos and biological samples; live animals; ivory, protected wildlife products, wild-animal meat, protected skins and furs.
- Liquids and semi-liquids, including alcohol, vape liquids, perfumes, hand sanitizers, liquid paints, sealants, inks and ghee. Do not send these to our hub without written confirmation of a separate approved service.
- Compressed gases such as propane, butane, hydrogen and helium are dangerous goods, not battery types. Damaged, defective or leaking batteries and devices containing them are not accepted.
Prior review: electronics, valuables & documents
- Batteries, battery shells, power banks, laptops, desktops, speakers and other battery-powered products need review of battery type, condition, capacity, packing and carrier acceptance. Approval and additional fees may be required.
- Air conditioners, televisions, drones, hoverboards, cameras and camera lenses, bulbs, lasers, magnets, radar detectors and walkie-talkies require review. Removing a DSLR lens does not by itself establish that the camera can be shipped.
- Used or broken phones and hard drives containing data require review; damaged batteries remain excluded. Back up and secure your data before submitting any device.
- Coins, precious metals, gold, silver, plated products, high-value gadgets, jewellery, imitation or oxidized jewellery, spectacles and lenses require accurate invoices and value declarations. Additional clearance, security or insurance conditions may apply.
- Driving licences, identity documents and other sensitive documents need prior acceptance. Never send cash or payment cards inside a document shipment.
Prior review: food, health & natural products
- Medicines require an invoice and, where relevant, a valid prescription, quantities for the intended use and destination permission. These documents do not guarantee acceptance. Insulin and temperature-controlled products require a specifically approved cold-chain service.
- Tobacco, hookah flavours, nicotine products, animal products or supplements, herbs, incense sticks, mosquito repellents, millets, meltable chocolates, perishable foods and refrigerated beverages require destination and carrier review. Liquid products are excluded from standard booking.
- Plants and seeds may require phytosanitary certificates and import permits. Sandalwood, red sandalwood, feathers from any bird and other wildlife-derived products require legal and serviceability checks; protected or unlawfully traded products cannot be shipped.
- Vibhuti, kumkum and other powders require a clear composition and packing review. Adult material or pornography must not be sent where prohibited. Chewing gum for Singapore requires destination-specific review.
Documents, approval & extra costs
- Contact support before purchase or pickup with photographs, product description, quantity, value, destination, battery details and relevant invoices, prescriptions, permits or safety data sheets. Written approval applies only to the reviewed shipment and service.
- Some items cannot be accepted even with documents. A quote, cart entry or payment is not clearance approval. Additional handling, packaging, permits, clearance or return costs will be explained where applicable.
- Fees already included in the confirmed price are not charged again. An item may still need documents or written approval: paying a fee does not override carrier, export or destination restrictions.
Customs brokers & rejected shipments
- Broker requirements depend on the destination, goods, value, importer and service. Ask before shipping to China, Bangladesh, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Taiwan or other African destinations. This is a review list, not a statement that every shipment to these destinations requires the customer to hire a broker.
- Customs or carriers may refuse, hold, return, seize or order disposal. Return is possible only if permitted; it cannot be guaranteed. Where caused by prohibited contents, missing documents or inaccurate declarations, applicable return freight, storage and disposal costs are the customer’s responsibility, subject to applicable law.
