Understand your shipping estimate, the charges included in your confirmed price, and what may change before dispatch.
Policy version 2026-10-16.1
How your shipping price is calculated
- Your shipping estimate depends on the destination, selected service, packed dimensions and chargeable weight. Actual weight is what the packed parcel weighs. Volumetric weight reflects the space it occupies. The higher weight applies, subject to the selected service’s calculation and weight bands.
- The rate calculator and booking details use the information available at that stage. Final warehouse or carrier measurements take precedence. Oversized parcels may attract a surcharge or may not be accepted.
- If verified measurements or shipment details change the amount, we explain the difference. Applicable shortfalls and eligible overpayments are adjusted or refunded under the confirmed service terms; an included fee is not charged again.
Included fees, packing and special handling
- Applicable standard origin clearance fees are included in the confirmed price through our pricing system. They are not an additional amount to pay again merely because they are explained in this policy.
- The applicable origin clearance fee basis is ₹1,000 per box for electronic items, ₹700 per box for imitation jewellery and ₹500 per box for wooden items. These are INR service fees, not destination government duties. For mixed-category boxes, ask support to confirm the applicable treatment rather than adding the fees yourself.
- Standard export-carton repacking is included. Fragile, oversized or heavy goods may need additional protection, such as crates or reinforced cartons. Special packing that is not already included is explained before the additional work.
- Review the confirmed order or quote for the charges included in your price. If a charge is unclear, contact support with your order or quote reference before paying.
Payment, estimates and later adjustments
- Before paying, review the products or services, selected shipping option, amount due and payment currency shown on the payment page. An estimate helps you plan; it is not a guarantee that unmeasured or unapproved contents can be shipped at that price.
- A fee already included in your confirmed price is not payable twice. Any later adjustment must relate to a change or a separately applicable cost, such as verified packed measurements, special packing or destination charges that were not included.
- We explain material additional charges and obtain confirmation as appropriate before purchase or dispatch. Do not send a second payment for an unclear request; ask support to identify the charge and the amount already paid.
Destination customs & brokerage
- Destination duties, taxes, import permits and clearance requirements depend on the goods and country. The receiver is responsible unless the selected service explicitly includes the relevant charges.
- For a DDP service, refer to the confirmed inclusions and exclusions; for a DDU service, destination duties and taxes are generally payable separately by the receiver. Customs may require additional documents or a broker.
- Accurate values and descriptions are required. We cannot guarantee customs release or override carrier or government restrictions.
Dispatch, delivery & address accuracy
- Typical transit estimates may range from 4–15 days for some services. The specific estimate shown for your selected route governs; other services can take longer. Procurement, pickup, hub preparation and customs delays can add time.
- Provide a complete address and reachable recipient. Incorrect addresses, absence or refusal can cause redelivery, return or storage charges.
- Weather, inspections, airline disruption, strikes and regulatory changes may delay delivery. Track the shipment and contact support if the expected delivery date passes.
Restricted goods, damage & returns
- Read Restricted & prohibited items before booking. Refused goods may be returned at the customer’s expense where return is lawful; customs may instead seize or order disposal.
- No shipment is guaranteed damage-free. Pack appropriately, disclose fragile contents and ask about confirmed insurance options. Applicable liability and mandatory consumer rights remain intact.
- Voluntary international returns after export are generally unavailable, particularly for perishable, hygiene-sensitive or regulated goods. This does not remove valid damage, non-delivery or statutory claims; see Returns, refunds & claims.
